Brief

A large diagnostics company was hiring field sales staff in cities like Mumbai and Delhi. They had a database of potential leads but faced a major problem — it took a week to identify who was genuinely interested and qualified. This large TAT caused dropoffs and and the TA team couldn’t keep up with manually calling every lead..

That’s when they brought in Hunar. Using a mix of AI-powered voice calls (with our agent Neha) and WhatsApp engagement, we helped them filter through all the noise and find the right candidates quickly.

This case study shows how we turned 16% of these exclusive leads into qualified, interview-ready candidates in just 3 days marking a more than 50% reduction in TAT.

Before Hunar’s Involvement

The company’s in-house recruiters were calling each lead manually. They would:

What We Did with AI and WhatsApp

We set up a two-part system:

  1. WhatsApp: We sent candidates a message about the job and asked if they were interested. We also collected their city and basic details.
    AI Voice Calls: Our agent Neha followed up with leads who didn’t respond on WhatsApp or needed more convincing.

  2. Handoff: We prepared a clean list of qualified candidates and shared it with the client’s team for lineup and interview.

This combination worked really well if someone didn’t reply on WhatsApp, they’d often pick up the AI call (or vice versa). It gave the hiring team a ready-to-use list, without wasting hours on follow-ups.
